What a week for professional bowling! EJ Tackett just rewrote the history books, Chris Warren dominated the senior scene, and we added 50 new alleys to the platform. Plus Jason Couch is making moves on the PBA50 tour.

🎳 On the Lanes

EJ Tackett won his fourth consecutive AMF PBA World Championship, becoming the first player in PBA history to win a title event four years in a row. The top seed defeated Zach Wilkins 188-181 in a dramatic final that came down to the last frame. Wilkins needed just a mark in the 10th to clinch the title but left a pocket 4-9 split and missed the spare attempt by centimeters.

This historic achievement also all but locks up Tackett's fourth consecutive Player of the Year award — another feat never accomplished in PBA history. The match took place at the iconic Strobl Arena inside AMF Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan.

📣 Industry News

Chris Warren claimed his second USBC Senior Masters title, adding to his 1990 ABC Masters and 2018 USBC Senior Masters victories. The 62-year-old called himself "the luckiest man in the world" after the win in Las Vegas, with family support playing a huge role in his success.

Sadly, the bowling world lost a legend as Mort Luby Jr., the longtime publisher of Bowlers Journal International, passed away at age 94. Luby earned 42 national writing awards during his career and was instrumental in expanding international bowling coverage.

On a brighter note, Maple Family Centers surpassed $1 million in donations to the Bowlers to Veterans Link, marking an incredible milestone for the family-owned business in their 65th anniversary year.
